This week Byte Club visits film and tv production company marblemedia to check out their production slate.

marblemedia is a content creation company on the forefront of television and new media production, devoted to telling stories that entertain and engage audiences across all platforms. Current marble initiatives include The Adrenaline Project and Taste Buds.

 The Adrenaline Project season 2 debuted in September 2008 on YTV. Each week this live action teen extreme reality series sends contestants to compete against one another in physical and mental challenges for bragging rights and cool prizes. In season 2 the excitement is stepped up with a new 26 episode tournament-style format that will have contestants competing over the whole season. The fun continues online at TheAdrenalineProject.com with games, information on the contestants and lots of web exclusive behind the scenes video.

Taste Buds, which premiered this fall on TVO, is a kid's cooking and food adventure series that provides a hands-on television and interactive experience for kids in the kitchen and beyond. TasteBudsTV.com will be the interactive playground where kids and adults can continue their taste adventures. Here they will find valuable information along with fun and educational games and activities.

In 2006 marblemedia introduced This is Emily Yeung ( ThisIsEmilyYeung.com), the spin off series of the award- winning This is Daniel Cook ( ThisIsDanielCook.com), this time featuring a female host, Emily Yeung. Emily takes a whole new audience through her adventures as she explores, learns and creates with everyone from snake handlers to professional basketball players. This is Emily Yeung first broadcast in September 2006 with a pre-launch on Mobile, VOD and broadband. This was the largest multiple-platform launch of a pre-school property in Canadian history with the first episode for broadcast TV on Treehouse selected by broadband voting. This is Daniel Cook and This is Emily Yeung are now airing in over 85 countries and in more than a dozenlanguages, in territories covered by: Discovery Kids Latin America, C4U Media Co Ltd (South Korea), Playhouse Disney US, Disney Germany, Disney Japan, ABC Australia, Treehouse, TVO, as well as all three western Canadian The This is; projects have a six volume DVD collection produced by marblemedia, a series of six books and a Juno nominated CD based on This is Daniel Cook now available at retail locations across North America.
