SceneOne.org is a home base for people, programs, information and film industry resources. We are dedicated to helping the next generation of filmmakers launch and sustain meaningful careers in the film and television industries.

Our mission is to promote ethnic diversity in the entertainment industry while helping filmmakers overcome the many barriers to employment. The ultimate goal is to assist new filmmakers with career advancement; and with each step forward they come closer to attaining economic parody in the film business.

Struggling to break into the film industry?

When starting out virtually everyone struggles with the same "experience only" catch-22. At the same time they are often overwhelmed by a dizzying array of potential approaches: film school, guilds, on the job training (mail room), internships, trade schools and a abundance of weekend seminars. Each constitute a disparate piece of the career-building puzzle, having its own strengths and weaknesses, as well as, their own rules of entry.

SceneOne.org is an innovative career support center for new talent during their requisite "struggling years." It provides motivated individuals with the a support system that can help them overcome the barriers facing anyone who hopes to make a career in the film and television industry.

SceneOne.org Filmmaking Workshop

Workshops are conducted on an ongoing basis. Applications are accepted year around. Following four weeks of classroom and on set training, SceneOne.org will provide ongoing mentoring and career counseling to ensure your long-term success.
